Living Scriptures, Inc. (LSI), founded in 1974 in Ogden, Utah by Jared F. Brown and Seldon O. Young, originally sold audio cassette dramatizations called “The Family Hour.” Through the sale of another business Brown & Young financed the Animated Stories from the Bible, New Testament, and Heroes, one of the most influential series on the Bible. In 2017, Living Scriptures launched a streaming service that now is on 14 platforms with a cherished catalog of over 5,000 family friendly films. In 2024, Living Scriptures celebrated their 50th year as they continue to that continues to inspire and change lives through powerful media.
