LIVES Centre Information

Three missions at the heart of the LIVES Centre's activities Science, society and training are at the heart of the LIVES Centre's research, and make it a reference centre at national and international level. Inaugurated in 2019, and following the activities of the NCCR LIVES, the LIVES Centre is an inter-institutional centre that studies the effects of the economy and post-industrial society on the evolution of situations of vulnerability through longitudinal and comparative studies. It aims to better understand the emergence and evolution of vulnerability and how to overcome it in order to foster the emergence of innovative socio-political measures. ******************************************************** Trois missions au coeur des activités du Centre LIVES Science, société et formation sont au cœur des recherches du Centre LIVES, et en font un centre de référence aux niveaux national et international. Inauguré en 2019, et reprenant les activités du PRN LIVES, le Centre suisse de compétence en recherche sur les parcours de vie et les vulnérabilités LIVES est un centre interdisciplinaire qui étudie les effets de l'économie et de la société postindustrielle sur l'évolution de situations de vulnérabilité par le biais d'études longitudinales et comparatives. Il vise à mieux comprendre l'apparition et l'évolution de la vulnérabilité ainsi que les moyens de la surmonter pour favoriser l'émergence de mesures sociopolitiques innovantes.
