Paul, founder of LiveLean first started the business to combine his passions for great quality food and healthy living and create something which could benefit everyone. At the beginning there were literally just a couple of simple meat hampers! In March 2017, entrepreneur (and founder of MyProtein) Oliver Cookson, become a major shareholder of LiveLean. He has helped contribute to LiveLean's overall strategy and expansion. Over the last two years LiveLean’s product range has grown significantly! Not only offering a wide range of great quality lean meats, but also a range of healthy meals, desserts, snacks and cooking essentials. At the beginning of LiveLean’s journey, our product range mainly appealed to fitness enthusiasts who were looking for high protein products. However with the expansion of our food range, our brand has been introduced to a wider audience and now appeals to the health conscious individuals and families. 72% of shoppers* in the UK are buying healthy food that is lower in salt, sugar and fat. We aim to provide a food shopping experience that benefits the health conscious, mass consumer. We believe that healthy eating should not be classed as a luxury. It should be accessible to all, allowing customers to be flexible and customise their meals to suit their own definitions of healthy. We are excited for the next couple of years, where we plan to continue adding a variety of new healthy foods to our range.
