Livecast Information

Livecast is a production company specialising in live Australian music. We've grown from humble beginnings (webcasting from a single laptop) into Sydney's favourite indie production team, with studios located at the Annandale Hotel... an icon of the Australian live music scene. After the current 2008 hiatus, the new Livecast studio will be launched sometime in the not-too-distant future, fulfilling our potential in the music industry and beyond. Along the way we've worked with nearly every major artist in the country as well as dozens of internationals. Our professional media content has been used for TV, Radio, Internet, 3G, DVD and CD. Livecast has over half a dozen DV cameras inhouse and mobile multi-track audio recording facilities ready to go! The Livecast team has produced live music for artists such as: Little Birdy, Kisschasy, Henry Rollins, The Vines, The Butterfly Effect, Jimmy Barnes, Supergrass, After the Fall, Magic Dirt, and Karnivool. All formats are supported, from streaming video to digi-beta, including NTSC conversions for the USA / Japan markets. Livecast has released several DVDs including: F**k This I'm Going to the Annandale (4 stars in Rolling Stone magazine), Henry Rollins: Live in the Conversation Pit, Jeff Martin and the Toronto Tabla Ensemble - Live at the Enmore, Boomtown Showdown 2006, and The Bronx: Live at the Annandale (rated in the Top 50 DVDs of all-time by Blunt magazine!). Look for our productions in dozens of other titles including major components of Kisschasy: The Movie (DVD), Isis: Clearing the Eye (DVD), and The Mess Hall: Metal and Hair (Multimedia CD-Rom). Critics love the authentic yet polished production values in our content - Livecast consistently delivers the raw energy and energetic vibe of outstanding live artists connecting with their fans.
