Live4Evan Information

Live4Evan (L4E) was formed by a close-knit group of Evan's friends determined to honor his life by giving back to others and spreading heart happiness "Evan's Way". It is our mission is to improve the quality of life for patients and families affected by cardiac disease. Each of us cherish precious memories of Evan that span from our early years of elementary school to the latter years of college, and it is our purpose to keep those memories alive and help others while doing it. As a group, we began participating in active events, such as the Tough Mudder, the Boston Marathon, and various local 5k's as a way to come together as a team and "Live 4 Evan". The feeling of community that these events provided, led us to form Live4Evan and host active lifestyle events that fundraise for our own patient family housing project in Boston and spread those feelings to a larger audience. In addition to our patient family housing project, L4E operates a volunteer meal program at the Yawkey Family Inn, supports family housing needs for Boston Children's Heart Center patients, and maintains a scholarship for graduates of Hopkinton High School. L4E has also provided support for the team of doctors and nurses at Boston Cardiac Foundation who deliver free cardiac care to patients of developing countries.
