Advisory: We offer strategic counsel to growth companies. Some of the key areas that we have dealt with include the following: - Developing and executing financing strategies at all stages of growth; - Identifying, creating and optimizing acquisition interest from buyers; - Developing and structuring acquisition growth strategies; - Evaluating and executing current and future business models; - Understanding the implications of changes in the competitive landscape; - Seeking relationships with Internet, media and technology companies; and - Assisting in the managing of employee, investor, customer constituents. Capital: We invest in private and public growth companies that are innovating or disrupting existing industries. We co-invest with other investors and will not typically lead investment rounds. As a participant in the investor syndicate, we believe we add unique value: - Expertise in financing equity, debt, convertible and alternative structures; - Access and insight into the financing requirements of follow-on investors at all stages (i.e., venture capital, private equity, public investors, value investors, sovereign wealth, etc.); - Industry knowledge (e.g., technology, Internet, digital media, software, consumer, etc.); - Access to international investors beyond the traditional Silicon Valley ecosystem; - Strong relationships with strategic investors and acute understanding of the implications of strategic capital on future options; and - Insight into the ultimate exit options for investors and thus ability to gauge overall investor interest in any opportunity.
