Domenic and Jane D'Onofrio founded LSE in 1955. Headquartered in Little Silver, New Jersey, LSE is a union contractor with over 60 years of expertise in all phases of electrical contracting. Initially the Company's focus was on small renovation and residential projects. Mr. D'Onofrio's responsibilities included all estimating and project management will Jane handled all the books. During its initial stages, LSE operated out of the D'Onofrio residence, where the office was located and the materials and trucks were stored! In the 1960's the Company was incorporated as an S-Corporation. Shortly after, it purchased an office/warehouse and hired an estimator and supervisor. As the Company matured and its quality reputation spread, larger residential and commercial projects became routine. During the 1970s, LSE was engaged in several water treatment plants, schools, shopping centers, and hospital projects. These sophisticated projects were now common place for the Company as it had earned a solid reputation throughout central New Jersey. In 1975, Patrick D'Onofrio, the founders' son, joined the Company after graduating from the University of Connecticut. By the 1980s, Patrick D'Onofrio was responsible for all Company operations. Since the 1980s, LSE's focus and project mix have remained fairly consistent. The majority of the Company's projects are located within Monmouth and Ocean Counties in central New Jersey. All of our electricians, supervisors, project managers, estimators, and other office staff take pride is keeping Domenic and Jane's vision into account when conducting business or completing a project.
