MATI Energy is the first truly healthy, long lasting energy drink. It’s more stimulating than a Red Bull. It tastes great, because it’s made with fresh fruit juice (a combination of apple, orange, and lime juice). Added bonus: it’s super healthy, with all natural ingredients that include just water, plants, and juices. And it’s just 40-90 calories per can. Based in Durham, NC with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Clayton, NC, MATI Energy has been continuously innovating in the energy drink industry since 2012 when founder Tatiana Birgisson launched the startup from her Duke dorm room. Since then, MATI has grown rapidly to become the best-selling energy drink at Whole Foods stores and offices across the southeastern US, won the top startup in North America at Google Demo Day, won Inc’s 30 Under 30 coolest entrepreneurs, and garnered national media attention from CNN, the Washington Post, ABC World News, Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and more. We are a team of outgoing, energetic, people-loving individuals who are passionate about bringing MATI to more customers. MATI has a vibrant, inclusive team and we offer a fast-paced, innovation-driven, and startup environment where our team members gain experience and responsibility quickly. Our team works out of the popular startup community and award winning Google tech hub, American Underground on Main St. in downtown Durham, NC.

Positive Energy began with a simple idea from our founder, Mike C., who was in need of a great tasting, healthy boost of energy to start his day. This husband and father did not like the taste of coffee and was discouraged by the current energy drinks being offered. The market was flooded with synthetic energy drinks, which were filled with artificial flavors, artificial preservatives and exotic stimulants like guarana and taurine. To top it all off, these drinks did not even taste good. He thought that there has to be a better tasting, healthier way to get the boost that is needed to lead an active day. Positive Energy was born to solve this problem and was cultivated as a healthy alternative to these current energy drinks. Positive Energy serves as a refreshing option for anybody looking for a functional beverage which tastes great, is good for you, boosts your physical energy and increases your mental sharpness. At Positive Energy, we provide natural energy intended to be a force for good, providing the vitality to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
