Linn-Benton Community College was established in 1966 as a two-year public college to serve the educational needs of residents in Linn and Benton counties. Our Mission is to engage in an education that enables all of us to participate in, contribute to, and benefit from the cultural richness and economic vitality of our communities. We are guided by our values of Opportunity, Excellence, Inclusiveness, Learning, and Engagement. More than 22,000 students take at least one class at LBCC each year, with more than 7,000 attending full time. Average 21:1 student to instructor ratio means personal attention from faculty who care. Over 32 clubs and campus groups plus concerts, plays and athletics round out student life. More than 60 transfer and career/technical programs to choose from, with smaller classes where students get more personal attention. Best of all, our teachers are here to teach - which is what's best for our students and community. MODERATION: LBCC reserves the right to hide (without notice) content unrelated to the original posts or comments containing hate speech or racist, obscene, or discriminatory language.
