The company LinkNotions has developed a software called LinkNotions and is now commercializing it on the https://www.linknotions.com website. The LinkNotions software is a tool to visualize and analyze complex phenomenon. By these we mean any field of knowledge comprised of multiple concepts (notions) linked together by multiple links in a non linear fashion. This applies to any field of knowledge as for example economics, ecology, history, medicine, criminology, sociology and psychology. One can also include complex problems arising within enterprises and institutions: organization, decision flow, flow of merchandise, etc. The website offers two fields of knowledge (worlds) to the public for the moment: economics and ecology. These are examples and starting points for debate and are not to be taken as perfect presentations. Visitors have the possibility of purchasing a basic license and licenses to different possible worlds. The basic license allows users to create their own user space (called a "world" within LinkNotions) and to input multiple notions with links (influences) connecting them. The world licenses allow users to modify the already available worlds offered by LinkNotions (economics, ecology and genealogy) The software is mainly aimed at researchers, professors and journalists, as well as at enterprises.
