Linking London Information

To widen participation and close gaps in higher education by empowering underrepresented learners across London to make informed choices, overcome barriers, and access meaningful pathways into study and employment. Linking London, based at Birkbeck, University of London, is a collaborative partnership of universities, colleges, schools, and sector organisations working together to widen participation in higher education across the capital. Our work spans all routes into and through higher education, including full- and part-time study, higher and degree apprenticeships, and work-based pathways into employment. Since 2017, Linking London has been part of the London Uni Connect Programme, an Office for Students-funded initiative dedicated to reducing gaps in higher education participation. Through Uni Connect, we collaborate with partners across London to support underrepresented young people in making informed decisions about their futures, addressing systemic barriers, and strengthening coordinated outreach efforts. By bringing together institutions and expertise, we aim to create a more inclusive, accessible, and connected higher education landscape for all learners in London.
