Lindoe Component and Structure Testing A/S, a subsidiary of Force Technology and the Lindoe Offshore Renewables Center (LORC), is a unique facility for test and demonstration within the large-scale climatic chamber and on the mechanical test bench. Within the climatic chamber complete systems, vehicles, and offshore components can be exposed to temperature, humidity, and salt-spray. From arctic environments at -35 °C to tropical climates at 60 °C with 95 % relative humidity a variety of different environments and test-cases can tested within the climatic chamber. The chamber at 8 m high x 8 m wide x 14 m long and with over a 1000 tonne floor capacity is suited for testing a wide variety of applications. Dynamic, static and fatigue testing of large and full-scale mechanical and structural systems is at the core of the capabilities for the mechanical test bench. Flexible and adaptable testing setups that utilize the 9 m wide x 20 m long strong floor or the 4 m high strong walls are possible for relative standard tests up to large and complex programs. On-stock hydraulic cylinders ranging in size from 125 kN up to 3000 kN along with the advanced control and data acquisition systems enable efficient, effective, and high-quality development and validation testing programs.
