Founded in Denmark in 1999 by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen, Normann Copenhagen is an international design brand rooted in Danish design traditions. Our continuously expanding collection encompassing furniture, lighting and home accessories is defined by clean lines with a playful twist and crafted with an emphasis on quality and durability. Since Normann Copenhagen’s foundation in 1999, our ambition has been to challenge conventional thinking and make the ordinary extraordinary through great design. By combining the craftsmanship, functionality and endurance characterized by our Danish design heritage with modern silhouettes and durable materials, we aim to create original products in a contemporary design that withstand the test of time. We believe in uniting people and spaces across the world and improving the quality of people’s lives through the power of great design. Our products combine functionality and design and accommodate the diversity of needs of modern life in residential and professional interiors alike. Our HQ is a six-story brand house featuring three floors of combined flagship store and showroom and three floors of office space, all designed to demonstrate the wide range of the Normann Copehagen collection.

Muuto is rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition characterized by enduring aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and an honest expression. By expanding this heritage with forward-looking materials, techniques and bold creative thinking, our ambition is to deliver new perspectives on Scandinavian design. In fact our name, Muuto, comes from muutos, meaning new perspective in Finnish. We handpick leading contemporary designers who are strong interpreters of our philosophy and combine their talents with the passionate Muuto creative team.
