Limehouse Books Information

Limehouse Books is a publisher of quality fiction and non-fiction books in print and digital. The company was founded in October 2009 and launched four months later with the publication of our first two titles, 100 and Bloody Vampires. In our first year we published five anthologies and made the transition to publishing novels in our second year. In 2012 we published The Rules of Poker, our first title in partnership with the International Federation of Poker. In 2013 we published our first graphic novel, Briony Hatch. In 2014 we published 4 titles including North Morgan's second novel. Uniquely we focus on commissioning titles rather than reading manuscripts and making acquisitions. Our aim is to be a small publishing house with a global reach – our titles are available in all markets digitally. But we do not forget our commitment to high standards in the design and production of our books. We are one of the few publishing houses that use a designer to ensure that the inside of our books are as beautiful as the outside. For two years design was led by Eren Butler, since the latter half of 2011 design – including this website – has been led by Emily Foster. Since 2013, the creative direction of the company has been led by Katrina Clark. Limehouse’s publisher and managing director is Bobby Nayyar, who previously worked at Little, Brown Book Group and Faber and Faber. In 2015, we will be publishing two titles, offering our Tower consultancy to prospective clients, and continuing efforts to launch Limehouse Academy, a social enterprise that will offer a vocational route into publishing.
