Likewise Information

Likewise is a mental health and wellbeing charity and community centre in Swiss Cottage, Camden. We offer a programme of free activities at our welcoming hub building and a range of practical and emotional one to-one support in the community. Our clients and community members come from diverse backgrounds but are typically vulnerable and isolated, often due to intersecting challenges of poor mental health, housing and poverty. Our approach is preventative, community-based, and holistic in a wider landscape that can often be overly reactive or clinical. Our vision is a society where everyone can thrive and feel safe to be themselves through supportive relationships, genuine connections and inclusive environments – and everything we do aims to build towards this. “The support I receive has been so helpful and has kept me out of hospital.” – Paul, community member.
