LIKA (Leading In the Knowledge Age) is a lean startup Canadian social enterprise that helps students of all ages become better equipped for living and working in the 21st Century. It is a client of MaRS and in association with CAIS. Future prospects for today’s youth are substantially different from past generations: work opportunities, student debt, and the nature of employment all require a new approach to education with new skills and new learning methodologies. Education is the foundation for success in the future. Schools are still fundamentally anchored in the past. That is bad news for our students. LIKA's focus is on helping students to build the 21st Century skills they will need to grow and thrive in the new economy. The program is offered through the schools careers strands and through individual pursuit. The core LIKA program builders have deep experience in local, national and international education and in top-of-the line digital technology. The LIKA team brings deep experience from all levels of education and the corporate world.
