Lights on Software Information

We've been doing Forward Deployed Engineering for 10+ years. The industry just gave it a name. Before Palantir coined the term, before OpenAI and Anthropic built FDE teams, Lights On Software was already doing this work: shipping production systems on-site, under the client's brand, as part of their team. Today, we provide the Forward Deployed Engineers that AI companies send to their most important customers. Our engineers embed directly with your enterprise customers. They operate under your brand. They own outcomes end-to-end, from scoping a vague problem to shipping production systems to staying long-term as trusted advisors. DELIVERY: Get your customers to production in 5 months, not 15. Industry benchmark: 1 FDE drives $2-5M ARR. PLANNING: Your customer says "we need AI." Our FDEs dig deeper. They find the highest-leverage intervention and compress implementation timelines. COMMUNICATION: Our engineers present to developers and C-suite with equal confidence. They bridge the gap between your product team and your customer's needs. RELATIONSHIP SECURITY: Fix something small in the first week. Earn the right to tackle bigger problems. Build capability, not dependency. Our track record: Built the Cohere Toolkit that became North. Forward deployed to Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, and Slack. Multi-year engagement with Tenstorrent. Deployed at Saris AI driving 300% productivity increases for banking customers. 17 senior engineers. 10+ years average experience. North America based. Self-managed, autonomous, and productive without hand-holding. When your biggest customer is on the line, you need engineers who combine staff-level technical depth with the presence to hold a room with your customer's CTO. Deploy FDEs: lightsonsoftware.com
