We maintain one of the most well-equipped lightning simulation and test laboratories in the world. Used to develop protection methods for a wide variety of building materials, electronic and telecommunication equipment, the laboratory also performs lightning verification tests required by the world's airworthiness certification authorities. In addition to the development of lightning protection for aircraft, Lightning Technologies, Inc. has used its laboratory to develop and test protection methods for a wide variety of devices and materials such as building materials, and electronic and telecommunication equipment. Since we are not a manufacturer of lightning protection products, we can maintain an objective approach to protection design. We employ straightforward engineering methods based upon sound physics, while avoiding expensive and unproven proprietary lightning protection products. In addition to engineering and testing services, we provide consulting and accident investigation services and conduct a regular schedule of professional education seminars.
