COVID-19 Updated Policies & Procedures May 1, 2020 In an effort to continue to support the health and safety of our clientele and their family members, as well as our staff members and the community as a whole, Lighthouse Family Center is taking precautions to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19 by implementing social distancing whenever possible, increasing our cleaning efforts, and monitoring the information that is disseminated daily by the Ohio Department of Public Health and by the office of Governor DeWine. Effective May 1, 2020, Lighthouse Family Center is implementing the following procedures: Telehealth appointments will continue to be offered when appropriate. Face-to-face sessions will be offered to clients that are unable to participate via Telehealth, but offices will be arranged to respect social distancing guidelines. If you or any members of your household have experienced illness that includes a cough or a fever in the past two weeks, you must reschedule your appointment. If you or any members of your household have been exposed to someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, you must reschedule your appointment. Only THE CLIENT AND OF THE CLIENTS CAREGIVERS should enter the buildings of any Lighthouse offices. No siblings should attend the clients appointment. If a client or his/her caregiver appears ill in anyway upon arriving to Lighthouse Family Center, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule the session. If you arrive early for your session, please wait in your car until the start time of your session. Caregivers should return to their cars while sessions are taking place to decrease the number of individuals waiting in our lobby. Hand sanitizer stations will be set up at the entrance of all Lighthouse offices. Please utilize the hand sanitizer provided at the start and the end of the appointment. Clients and caregivers should wear masks to their appointments to protect themselves and others. If you or your child does not have a mask, one will be offered to you. ...
