Lifeline Malawi Association is a Canadian charity founded by Dr. Chris Brooks, along with other Canadians, in response to the enormous medical need in the impoverished nation of Malawi. In 2001, a piece of land on the shores of Lake Malawi was donated by a local chef to Dr. Brooks. Starting with its humble beginnings providing mobile medical services under the shade of a baobab tree, Lifeline Malawi has grown over the past 15 years to expand to a wide-range of services that include the combating of HIV/AIDS and other diseases, improving maternal health, and reducing child mortality in the community. Together we are working together to bring transforming hope and healing to the people of Malawi.
