LIFE Lebanese International Finance Executives Information

Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE) is a worldwide membership organisation of Lebanese financiers based in the diaspora and is funded by its members'​ fees, by individual donors as well as by the country's major banks. Established in 2009, it enables Lebanese finance executives worldwide to: Connect: Establish stronger bonds among Lebanese finance executives Nurture: Help the next generation succeed in the field of finance Promote: Act as a global partner and sponsor to the Lebanese economy and to the Lebanese public and private sectors in the areas of policy, development, economic growth and international reach among others LIFE currently boasts over 1000 finance professionals across 10 chapters in Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, UAE, UK and US, and has a senior committee in Lebanon. LIFE operates through a number of activities including business networking events, providing scholarships and mentoring for young aspiring talents as well as offering career transition advice for mid-career professionals. LIFE also aims to invest in entrepreneurship in Lebanon and to raise awareness of Lebanon within the international financial circles. LIFE plans and organises monthly events in all its chapters and 2 major events every 18 months, a LIFE Senior Leadership Offsite and a Gala dinner. LIFE Generation is the charity arm of LIFE, it is registered in Lebanon, France, the UK, the US and Switzerland and is financed through fundraising events such as the Gala dinners as well as foundations, corporate and individual contributions and it dedicates 100% of its funds to the Nurture programmes.
