Lobo&Monteiro Ltd. was established in 1978 by two young entrepreneurs with some experience in graphic arts. Their core focus then, as now, was on producing cardboard and micro-corrugated board packaging sectors such as food, textiles, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, telecommunications, and more recently, for a variety of new industries. In 1995, the business made an exponential leap that allowed it to cement itself as one of the main companies in the sector in Portugal. The most important strategic developments were the technological modernisation of the production process, improvement of costumer services as well as human resources. In 2001 the company achieved the ISO9001/2000 certification, revealing its high organisational and professional standards. Nowadays Liderbox S.A. keeps following the latest industry trends.
