What is Lidd? Lidd is a new packaing solution that saves 10-20% on costs and over 45% on packaging weight, reducing environmental impact for retailers and leading food brands. Lidd allows the printing of both marketing and nutritional information on a peelable film lid, removing the need for the uneconomical cardboard sleeve traditionally used in food packaging. Lidd is a two layer laminated construction which reduces packaging carbon footprint and the impact of road transport on the environment. The film is fully recyclable using food grade, water based inks and adhesives.
