Library Support Network Information

The Library Support Network (LSN) is the only organization dedicated entirely to strengthening public library fundraising and funding advocacy across North America. We connect and equip the people responsible for raising money for public libraries—no matter their title, team size, or where they sit in the library ecosystem. From rural Friends groups to large urban foundations, LSN helps fundraisers grow their effectiveness and build sustainable support for the libraries their communities rely on. Our work includes: • Free tools, events, and peer discussion for library fundraisers • Beginning Jan 2026, paid membership with access to curated resources and benchmarking tools • Field-level initiatives • Consulting services for foundations at key inflection points What began as a grassroots effort sparked at the International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLFC) is now a growing movement—with over 800 professionals from 265+ library systems already engaged.
