Lexington Development Information

Before forming Lexington Development we were in the home building business for almost 25 years. In 2008, confronted with the collapse of the housing market, we began looking for ways to improve our Internet Marketing position and began researching to determine our internet footprint. Despite our extensive research, we only found information about us on only 87 web pages. With such a small web presence, we decided that a new high-impact website was needed, along with an aggressive web marketing plan. We hired a website designer and spent several months working with them on the design. As the scheduled launch date neared, excitement grew, until the website designer went out of business 3 days before the launch. We had spent 8 months and didn't have the website which was to be the core of our marketing strategy. We desperately needed the new site, but didn't have any money left after spending almost $30,000 while working with the now defunct designer. Assessing our options we came to the inescapable conclusion that my wife and I would build the website ourselves. Other than knowing nothing about website design, coding or programming, it seemed like a fine idea. Armed with little more than our belief in American Ingenuity the task before us seemed insurmountable.
