We want people (in wheelchairs) to sit without problems! We use our knowlegde and experience to manufacture our own developed sit orthosis. At Lewis Seating Systems we developed an innovative sit orthosis for people with sit problems, mostly wheelchair users. The back- and seat orthosis combination provides a superior postural support. Effective application is possible by following specific guidlines for positioning. The exceptional pressure distribution which is purposfully unequally distributed to inverse match the human tissue reducess pain and risc for ulcers.
