Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services Information

It is the mission of Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services to serve consumers so that they may achieve a more fulfilling and independent life. The primary consumers of L&CBHS are residents of the counties of Bon Homme, Charles Mix, Clay, Douglas, Hutchinson, Union and Yankton who have mental illnesses, chemical dependency, gambling addiction, are in need of family and children's services or are concerned with optimal mental health. L&CBHS offers confidential services including Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluations, Psychological Evaluations Medication Management, Emergency Services, Consultation Services, Home Based Therapy, Children's Case Management, Geriatric Mental Health Services, Community Support Programs, Vocational Services, Education and Prevention Services, Gambling Services, and Substance Use Evaluations and Treatment. The intent of L&CBHS is to work in cooperation with the families of consumers and those working on behalf of our consumers, such as advocacy groups, government entities, United Way, other agencies, and concerned citizens.
