WE EMPOWER OUR CITIES THROUGH SOCIAL UPLIFTMENT AND THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL JUSTICE. WE BELIEVE IN ADDING VALUE TO COMMUNITIES THROUGH EQUIPPING THEM AND RESHAPING THEIR NARRATIVE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW. We have passion for connecting the dots between corporate, community and the people in need. Particularly through skills development, small enterprise aswell as SED social justice causes. Our goal is to break the poverty mind set and spirit of entitlement which hinders youth. Particularly those from vulnerable communities. Our skills programs are designed to achieve this. Work 4 a living job readiness, Phase 2 Skills programs such as Red Band Academy, E-cafe skills training and Tanks IT coding are some of the programs we run. The changing of a world view and poverty mind set is vital to long term change and impact. Couple this with discipleship support and a person can hugely influence their community. Our enterprise development program speaks to the objectives of our long term goal. In this program we take people on a journey from unemployed to business owner. This takes various forms from Coffee Bar(Red Band) owner to small business IT coding initiatives in rural communities (Tanks). Our Red band enterprise Coffee bars are being rolled out across South Africa as both training facilities and income generators to fund part of the skill development initiatives. We currently have 6 Red Band Academies and 7 Red Band Coffee bars with a goal to invest further into rolling out more coffee bars. Our social justice (SED) programs include food and clothing distribution aswell as various initiatives such a baby safe. Many of these programs are run in collaboration with partner organisations such as Work 4 a Living, Gangstar and Games Tangible.
