LettusDraw Information

We are Taylor and Mary! Both of us happened to meet at Baylor University when Taylor killed the power (if you must ask, with two hair dryers and an extension cord) on the first day of school. After graduating school within the past year we have become major multi-taskers, juggling freelance work and design jobs. LettusDraw came about in 2015 when we sought out a creative outlet where we weren't following assignments like we did in art school, but instead, came up with them on our own. We realized it was entertaining asking the audience to give suggestions and whatever they decided we had to draw. The challenge was incredible, and it has made us even better illustrators today. Originally we got our start on Periscope (RIP Periscope) and started to realize that this endeavor was much bigger than ourselves. We started to form relationships with viewers and realized that there were many artists out there that sought community. Not just a Facebook group, but something real and something interactive. Sometimes in the art world we get isolated in our own craft that we forget we are all in this together (sorry you probably now have that High School Musical song in your head). In art school, we figured out that your fellow art peers can give you constructive criticism and suggestions that can propel your work much further than you would have on your own. This realization became our mission–our goal. We not only love to entertain the general public, but also become a hub for all artists. Looking for an awesome community of illustrators, designers, camera gurus, storytellers, and dreamers.
