Letcat is a leading developer and manufacturer of intelligent medical devices that improve patient adherence. We are specialised in drug delivery devices where our expertise within embedded engineering could be well applied. Coming from the telecommunication world, we see drug delivery from a different perspective. We see a world of connected devices where the patient and healthcare provider can monitor treatment in real time. This results in increased freedom for the patient, accurate monitoring for the healthcare provider and a reduced burden on the healthcare sector. We also see great potential for drug delivery devices with features from the telecom world. Devices can be designed to be more compact, with more detailed user information and with lower power for longer life. We’ve applied these ideas to product designs for our clients and our own products, Letcount® and Letject®.
