XLence is brought to you by For Schools Education Services. At For Schools, we have one goal: to make a difference to childrens lives by improving the quality of their education. We take no political position but seek to ensure that all children get the best education they possibly can within the structures laid down by government. Our mission at For Schools Education Services is to provide reliable and affordable services, products and software that help to ease the burden placed on schools. Our customer support is highly rated and were incredibly proud of the level of service that our team provides to schools every day. The vast majority of work we do is directly with schools in the UK and abroad, however we are increasingly working with alternative education establishments, such as training partnerships and higher education institutions. We strongly believe that no two schools are the same and as such, all of our products and services can be tailored to suit your particular setting. This year we are aiming to raise money for a large climbing frame for the playground. To do this we are working together on our hugely popular events from last year which include our fish and chips quiz night, our Mother's Day pop up shop, frozen Thursdays and our afterschool children's movie nights. We are also working on a torchlight treasure hunt around The Acres, a Dads and kids camping night on the school field, a parents outdoor movie night, our stall at Horley Carnival and not forgetting our hotly anticipated Summer Fair! It's not all about fundraising though, we support the school and the children in many other ways. We have made the nativity costumes and painting aprons, we help with guided reading with the children, arts and crafts during the school day and collecting recycled milk bottles to build a reading igloo for the children to enjoy. We extend an open invitation for you to join us at any stage during the school year, whether it be actually attending meetings or just sending in your ideas. No experience is necessary but enthusiasm is a must! So whether it is face painting, sewing, baking, building things, juggling, photocopying, handing out drinks, BBQing - WE NEED YOU!
