HÉRITAGE ET PÉRENNITÉ FAMILIALE En 1880, Joseph Drouhin, originaire du pays de Chablis, fonde à Beaune la Maison qui porte son nom. La passion s’est transmise : à chaque époque, la famille a innové et enrichi son savoir-faire. Aujourd’hui la quatrième génération de Drouhin anime la Maison en alliant tradition et esprit neuf. UNE VOCATION : LA BOURGOGNE DANS TOUTE SA DIVERSITÉ Le Domaine Joseph Drouhin s’étend sur l’ensemble de la région viticole. Du Nord au Sud : Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte châlonnaise. Il s’est constitué au fil du temps par l’acquisition de parcelles dans des crus prestigieux, avec une majorité de premiers et grands crus. The Ruinart Maison was founded in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. His uncle, a learned Benedictine monk called Dom Thierry Ruinart had an incredible insight. He foretold that this new “wine with bubbles”, developed in his native region of Champagne and which the royal courts of Europe adored, was destined for a bright future. Driven by a constant quest for excellence and the absolute, Ruinart selected chardonnay, a rare and fragile grape variety, as the common thread for all its cuvées. For nearly three centuries, the Ruinart wines presided over the destiny of the House, which became a benchmark for excellence and elegance in the world of champagne.
