LEONE 1947 Information

In March 1947, after years of experience in the leather goods sector, Cav. Orlando Leone founded LEONE 1947®, a Milanese sporting goods factory.. His love of boxing led the founder to manufacture items specifically for this sport and the company soon became a market leader. All the Italian boxers of the time wore LEONE® gloves at some point. Since then, the LEONE® brand has been a permanent feature in the ring, both in Italy and all over the world, while also offering its production experience to new emerging disciplines from overseas, such as kickboxing, thai boxing, savate and MMA. Over recent years, LEONE® has expanded internationally, taking its business to new foreign markets and consolidating its leading position as an Italian brand in the combat sports sector thanks to prestigious international sponsorship deals with stars such as Giorgio and Armen Petrosyan, Gago Drago, Artur Kyshenko, Alessio Sakara, Leonard Bundu, Sak Kaoponlek, Chingiz Allazov, Yuri Bessmertny, Mathias Gallo Cassarino, Lena Ovchynnikova and many more. LEONE® is also a major name in the sporting goods sector. All our items aim to convey the same passion and energy experienced when entering the ring!
