Leon Environmental, LLC is a small business that specializes in permitting and regulatory compliance, habitat restoration, and natural resource science. We work collaboratively with clients who require our specialized expertise or additional resources. We have extensive experience supporting shoreline and critical areas projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, including: shoreline improvements like piers, docks, floats, shoreline protection (bulkheads, soft shore, and hybrid systems); Port, municipal, industrial, and residential developments; dredging projects; and environmental restoration and contaminated site cleanups. Our technical services include: local, state, and federal permitting (individual and programmatic) and mitigation (concurrent, advance, and bank); critical areas and wetland delineation and reporting; SEPA/NEPA analysis; ESA compliance, including the new Salish Sea Nearshore Programmatic; BA/BE preparation; fish and wildlife habitat restoration design; shoreline assessments; special studies supporting environmental review and compliance; climate change preparedness and resiliency planning; sediment investigations for dredging or remediation; CERCLA/MTCA support; facilitation and charette support; and grant writing. Leon Environmental, LLC was founded in 2011 on the simple principle that when a client’s interests are prioritized, success will follow.
