Legro is one of the largest substrate suppliers in Europe and beyond. We process and mix raw materials to obtain optimum substrates, customised to meet the specific needs of, in particular, tree growers, young plant growers, mushroom growers and soft fruit growers. Our philosophy is to manage the entire production process by ourselves. Therefore we have our own transport company and we own peat fields with a total area of around 3000 ha in the Baltic States. Currently we have three production locations in the Netherlands, one in Germany, one in Belgium, one in Latvia and one in India. Legro is a family business specialised in growing media that is now being managed by the fourth generation. The organisation also includes Legro Transport, Legro Mushroom Casing Solutions and Kalloveen.
