After working in London for over 25 years with several different law firms from the top 500 to sole practitioners I gained a wealth of experience as a legal secretary dealing with all aspects of the legal field including crime, personal injury, family, probate conveyancing, commercial and civil litigation. In 2008 I relocated out of London and saw a niche in the market for a reliable outsource transcription service offering assistance and typing support to legal practices and Barristers alike. With my vast wealth of knowledge of in-house legal secretarial support together with the experience gained whilst working in London I set up HSS which has gone from strength to strength building up a regular clientele assisting with their secretarial needs. We have a friendly, approachable “here to help” attitude which is what has kept us going in this ever changing market. In 2015 we changed name to Legal Transcription Solutions (LTS) and joined forces with Lawscript NI the leading transcription company in Ireland meeting the needs of professional organisations in both Ireland and the UK affording us the opportunity of being able to offer several transcription services including; legal transcription, medical transcription and telephone answering service. We found that managing resources is the single largest challenge of any legal practice. Here at LTS our challenge is no different and having the ability to upscale at short notice through the sharing of resources, while not affecting the cost and quality is paramount to the invaluable service we provide to our clients which is our main priority. That is the reason for our collaboration with Lawscript.
