Conroe ISD is a 348 square mile school district located in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. The geographic areas of the District are diverse and include The Woodlands, Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, Conroe, and Caney Creek, as well as several other smaller towns, communities, and unincorporated areas. Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is the third largest public school district in the state of Texas with more than 115,000 students enrolled. During the 2019-2020 school year, the district employed 7,697 teachers, 2,610 paraeducators, 3,658 special service personnel, and 1,701 professional/administrative/support personnel for a total of 15,666 employees.
