LEC Group provides SAP GTS consulting services. LEC Group is also a Global Trade Compliance software developer and solution provider offering intuitive trade compliance solutions to the SMB/SME markets. LEC Group has developed a “bolt-on” web based solution to SAP GTS. This is provided as a software as a service (SAAS) transaction based solution for the SME/SMB market, built on the SAP GTS platform. The SME/SMB client can benefit in the functionality of the SAP GTS platform, and only pay for the services used, in this case the setup, the trade compliance back-office managed services, as well as the transactions posted and cleared through the solution offering. The objective is to enable SME/SMB clients to focus on their core business with reduced risk for import/export, at the same time enable them to venture into new markets at reduced risk from a trade compliance perspective. Services offered include: • Setup of products and business partners; • Sanctioned Party Listing (SPL) compliance check on business partners; • Classification of products; • Legal Control and licenses; • Customs Imports including forms required to clear customs; • Customs Exports including forms required to clear customs and Automated Export System (AES) filing.
