Leaf Healthcare creates wireless patient monitoring solutions for health care providers who are seeking more efficient and cost effective ways to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes. Our first innovation, The Leaf Patient Monitoring System, wirelessly monitors a patient's position and movement to automate and document the management of prescribed turn protocols for patients at risk for Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers (HAPUs). The system is comprised of a lightweight, wireless, wearable Patient Sensor, a plug and play secure wireless network of antennas, and proprietary software that manages data, displays patient status, and provides necessary care alerts at a nurse’s station or on mobile devices. At Leaf Healthcare, we focus on developing solutions that decrease healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes. We are working to broaden existing product features and capabilities, and develop innovative new technologies that enable more efficient and effective patient care.
