SIA “LDZ CARGO” is a subsidiary of VAS “Latvijas dzelzceļš”, established in 2007, offering clients a broad range of services, including international and domestic rail freight transportation, full-service rolling stock repair, modernisation, maintenance and equipping, the manufacture and assembly of technological components, as well as international logistics and freight forwarding services. LDZ CARGO Ltd. is one of the key players in Latvia’s transport and transit sector and a significant rail freight operator on a European scale. In June 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the merger of three subsidiaries of the LDz Group. As part of the reorganisation, LDZ CARGO absorbed LDZ Rolling Stock Service and LDZ Logistics. From 3 October 2025, LDZ CARGO has taken over all commercial activities of the merged entities, becoming an even stronger and more competitive company in the Baltic region.
