LCBO|next is all about bringing fresh ideas, creative thinking and new skills to complement and enhance LCBO’s technology initiatives. Technology is the backbone of LCBO as it continues to be the world’s largest purchaser of beverage alcohol from more than 60 countries, and tracks 24,000 products to 600+ stores across Ontario. With current innovative projects, such as the LCBO mobile app or the award winning automated palletization technology, LCBO is leading the way of using technology to empower staff, engage with customers and enable efficiency in business operations. With the resources of LCBO’s reach and the energy of a start-up, co-op students will have the opportunity to take their ideas through a unique process that will have a lasting impact on LCBO’s operations and customer experience.
