LUS är en paraplyorganisation för de nio kårerna vid Lunds universitet. Lunds universitets studentkårers ändamål är: - att företräda Lunds universitets studenter och föra fram en samlad studentröst gentemot Lunds universitet samt andra aktörer vilka påverkar Lunds universitets studenters situation. - att utgöra ett valorgan för studenterna vid Lunds universitet på universitetsövergripande nivå. - att utgöra en gemensam plattform för studentkårerna vid Lunds universitets arbete.
