Lavin & Waldon, P.C. was founded in 1993 by Steven H. Lavin and Dennis C. Waldon. Previously, Mr. Lavin was the managing partner, chairman of the executive committee, corporate department director and marketing and development director for a prominent over 70 year old mid-size Chicago law firm for which Mr. Waldon served as director of the litigation department. Lavin & Waldon, P.C. is typically compensated based upon the hourly billing rate of the attorney performing the work or in some instances, on a predetermined fixed fee basis. Our lower overhead results in lower billing rates than those of larger firms, but with the same high quality work and successful results. Under the appropriate circumstances, a full or partial contingent fee arrangement will also be considered.
