Laurimar Primary School is committed to the academic and personal growth of every student. A focused curriculum, dedication to innovation and a culture of care, enables us to meet this commitment. Great emphasis is placed on the foundation learning areas of English and Mathematics, where we help each child to reach their maximum potential. A balanced and comprehensive curriculum constantly changes to extend their learning. Our aim is to challenge students to be the very best that they can be. We have an exceptional Early Years Literacy and Numeracy program featuring teacher support and enthusiastic parental assistance, which is enhanced by our innovative one to one iPad program for all students in grades 2-6. We welcome and are committed to active participation of parents in what is happening at the school and will continually seek assistance from parents in classroom and school programs. We provide a comprehensive "Step Into Prep" transition program from pre-school children, ensuring a happy start to their school life. Even though we are a large school we still place an emphasis on the individual development and growth of all students.
