Laurie's Flooring Information

The first store was located on Main Street in downtown Troy, Ohio. As the business grew, so did the need for more space and better parking. After finding the perfect building and location, owner Laurie Smith decided to change the name to Laurie's Flooring & Window Fashions. Always struggling with the name "Home Decorating Center" the customer assumed it was a typical decorating store, until they walked in. What they realized was that it was a full service floor store with a window treatment department. Laurie's mother, who recently passed away in 2007 always suggested that it should be named "Laurie's". So, in honor of Peg, Laurie's late mother, the new name and location is Laurie's Flooring & Window Fashions and is located at 105 W. Market Street (across from Wal-Greens).
