Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade at the world’s leading executive search firm, recruiting over 200 CEOs, CFOs, and Chief Marketing Officers. She later became the first Head of HR for multiple global companies including WeWork and Tinder, led people organizations ranging from 300 to 40,000 employees, and served on the board of a Nasdaq-listed public company. Her services are informed by formal executive coach training at Columbia University, certification in Hogan Assessments and MBTI, and advanced leadership education at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Stanford Law School. Her programs have supported hundreds of leaders' promotions and advancement. She was named National Diversity Council's Most Powerful and Influential Woman of the Year and to the Tech HR100. Soo is a sought-after speaker on high performance cultures. Additionally, she is a published writer of fiction and non-fiction, and her writing has been supported by PEN America. An alumna of Bread Loaf Writers Conference and the Community of Writers, she currently serves as an assistant fiction editor of Narrative.
