Launceston Musical Society Information

The Launceston Musical Society is a non-profit, locally based, amateur theatre group whose aim is to produce quality, professional-style musical productions for the enjoyment of the Launceston community. Under the auspices of the LMS is the Vox Harmony Choir, a singing group that provides its members with the opportunity to sing at many varied occasions throughout Tasmania. The LMS actively encourages youth participation and provides the opportunity for young members to follow their dream through the presentation of the annual Judy Yates Award. We pride ourselves on ensuring that newcomers and unknowns are given the opportunity to become a part of our productions by auditioning all roles for every production.
