He has over a decade of formal engineering experience, but has been dabbling with programming and CAD tools since his teenage years His professional engineering background includes: welding engineering on exotic and corrosion resistant alloys, process piping design of equipment operating in the creep regime, and fitness-for-service and fracture mechanics evaluations of process equipment. He has two patents involving novel heat transfer geometries.
