Omer Tiroche Gallery was founded in London in 2014, opening its Mayfair space in 2015. Over 12 years, the gallery has built an international reputation for rigorously curated exhibitions focused on Modern, Post-War, and Contemporary masters, combining scholarly expertise with strong market awareness. Our programme features high-quality work by renowned artists, including Modern masters such as Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí, and Post-War icons such as Yayoi Kusama and Egon Schiele. We take pride in exhibitions that explore both art-historical narratives and their contemporary significance. Omer Tiroche is a 3rd generation art dealer whose family has been active in the art market since 1950. He worked alongside his father, a respected private dealer, before founding the gallery. This lineage shaped a practice grounded in connoisseurship and institutional understanding. We engage with museums and institutions regularly, both for loans to exhibitions and sales. Recent highlights include the sale of an important Dalí painting to the Detroit Institute of Arts, Kusama works on loan to her retrospective at Fondation Beyeler, Museum Ludwig, and Stedelijk Museum, a Haring to the Brant Foundation’s exhibition, and forthcoming loans of Dalí works to the Thyssen-Bornemisza. After more than a decade in London, we've relocated to Miami Beach, extending our cultural roots into the city's vibrant art scene. Prompted by his continuing ambition to ‘paper the world in original art’, Alan Cristea opened his eponymous gallery in 1995. The gallery is the primary representative for a number of renowned contemporary artists, artists’ estates and emerging artists, and is one of the world’s leading publishers of original contemporary prints and editions. Having expanded considerably over the past 21 years, in October 2016 the gallery will move/moved to new, larger, bespoke premises, better suited to the representation of the gallery’s growing roster of celebrated and international artists. The Alan Cristea Gallery is entirely artist-led and is dedicated to assisting artists in bringing new bodies of work to fruition, including editions, works on paper, paintings, sculpture or installations, which are presented in a continuous programme of public exhibitions, events and art fairs. Alongside this, the gallery also draws on Alan’s 50 years of experience in the art world to provide unrivalled access to the best examples of original prints by the modern masters of the 20th and 21st centuries, from Naum Gabo, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso to Patrick Caulfield, David Hockney and Andy Warhol. The gallery continues to extend the legacy of some of art history’s most important figures through its work with the Estates of Josef and Anni Albers, Patrick Caulfield, Naum Gabo, Richard Hamilton and Tom Wesselmann. Exhibitions for late 2016 and 2017 include Vicken Parsons, Jim Dine, Gillian Ayres, Langlands & Bell, Ian Davenport, Emma Stibbon, and Michael Craig-Martin.
