Lastu products are proudly made ??in Northern Finland. We design and manufacture our products from start to finish. Products are polished and waxed by hand several times, to enable highest quality. Lastu is the world's only cover manufacturer that uses the wood from the Finnish sawmill. We do a lot cooperation with our wood suppliers so that we can develop our products more durable and thinner. In our products we use genuine reindeer leather that always comes from Northern Finland. We are familiar with our leather suppliers, and we have ensured that the materials are environmentally friendly. Most of our competitors say they use Genuine Leather, but you can feel the difference when you smell the case. And no, most of them do not use genuine leather like we do. We do not own a conveyor belt. We manufacture each product individually. We know where our materials come from. We monitor our production. We support the plantations of trees. The packaging we use recycled cardboard. The above are a few things about our responsibility. In addition, we use only the types of wood that support sustainable development. Some of our competitors use a wood types that are endangered or protected such as Ebony or Zebrawood.
